ABOUT THE ARTIST
Gustavo Canever Boneli is a songwriter who walks a fine line between country rock, folk, and the heaviness of metal. His lyrics evoke an "outlaw" storytelling that blends seamlessly with visceral guitars, creating a musical atmosphere akin to a midnight drive down an empty road, with the roar of an old engine echoing in the background.
His sound is not concerned with being polished or sober; on the contrary, it is raw, rough, and carnal.
The journey so far: Born in Orleans, Santa Catarina, in southern Brazil, and having lived in other small inland towns like Treze de Maio and Jaguaruna, Boneli imprints his roots, stories, and life experiences directly into his music. His debut as a songwriter was marked by the release of his first single, "Rebel," in 2020.
